An official dedication and grand opening is planned this Saturday,
Nov. 27th, 2010 for the Ritzville Skate Park across from the Little
League field.
Beginning at 3:00 p.m., the afternoon will include presentation of the
colors and a ribbon cutting ceremony. The public is encouraged to attend.
The skate park downtown is done. There are two rails, three ramps, some
stairs, a fun box and even a rail on the fun box. At the skate park kids can
practice flat lands and vertical tricks. There are kids at the skate park almost
every day, which means the skate park has become famous to the towns skate
boarders. Putting in the skate park was a great investment to help keep kids
safe while they get to have a lot of fun learning and practicing tricks and skills!
