BMX races at Larson this weekend.
The non-profit Moses Lake BMX organization will be running
sanctioned races this weekend at the Larson Recreation
Center Track, 610 Yakima Avenue.
The SCR State Race takes place Saturday starting at 10 a.m.
once all interested competitors have registered. Registration
starts at 8 a.m. and will be $20 per bike.
Riders have to had three Pre State Qualifiers under their belt
to be able to race this year at Sea Tac for the BMX Finals and
the Moses Lake edition allows for one of those to be completed.
Racers are on a point system and the top three advance
to the State Finals, which take place in mid-September.
On Sunday, the Race For Life race will take place
beginning at 5:30 p.m. after registration completes.
The race registration starts at 4:30 and will accept $20 donations
that would go toward the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
